Ease of getting Taxi/Rideshare at 3:30AM on a Sunday in Adelaide?

I'm going to flying out of Adelaide (ADL), South Australia at 6:00AM on a Sunday morning (and can't miss this flight). As I'll be staying close to the city center that means I'll need to be out the door around 3:30AM to 4:00AM.

But I have no feel for how available a Taxi/Rideshare is at that time and location. Currently I have Didi that I used on a recent trip to Brisbane, but I only used that during daylight hours, and only had to wait 5 minutes to be picked up.

How likely am I to get any brand of rideshare and/or Taxi at 3:30AM on a Sunday morning in the centre of Adelaide?

My backup plans are currently:

  • Go pick up a rental car at the airport on Saturday afternoon and drive myself
  • Or, Stay at the hotel at the airport (but that means checking out of my accommodation Saturday and putzing about until I can check in)

Someone asked the same question on https://www.reddit.com/r/Adelaide/s/pRrE0bx6BS, got many experienced answers and the overall consensus was:

booking a taxi in advance would be the best thing to do.

and cheaper than Uber. Examples of taxi companies: 13cabs or Suburban Taxis.
