I'm trying to identify an early '90s TV movie where a woman moves to a new city and begins seeing a man following her, but no one else ever sees the man. The man shows up in her apartment, and she beats him to death with a golf club. She leaves his body in the room and tells no one about it.
A few days later, the same man she killed comes back and starts throwing her around her apartment, but then the movie reveals that it is her doing it to herself and the man is not real. The woman wraps a phone cord around her neck and throws herself out the window.
It's not Fear Stalk (1989). It does sound similar, but the movie I'm talking about was a made-for-TV movie from the early '90s.
