I am trying to use my Windows laptop as secondary monitor for my Windows PC using spacedesk.
My laptop is connected to my PC using the hotspot.
The problem is that when I tried to connect my laptop to PC it is showing Connecting to 192...... then after 2-3 seconds it goes back to the main display of Spacedesk Viewer.
I tried using the phone as seconds display, and it is working. (connected Using Pc's hotspot)
Things I already checked:
- Laptop can ping PC
- Port is listening (28252)
- also started a Python web server on port 8000, but the laptop still cannot connect to it.
- Not working on both Private and Public Network.
- Not working even with Windows Firewall Off
System Informations:
- Win 11 (Both devices)
- Spacedesk Viewer Version(Laptop) - v0.0.041.0 (Downloaded from MS Store)
- Spacedesk Driver Version(PC) - v2.2.25
Update on this problem
- Reinstalled the spacedesk Driver (PC) and Viewer (Laptop).
- Restarted both the PC and the laptop.
- (Laptop connected to the PC's hotspot.)
- The first time, the laptop connected successfully.
- Disconnect it to change the FPS settings.
- After that, it only shows "Connecting to 192.168.137.1..." for 2–3 seconds and then goes back to the main screen.
